A ReplicaSet ensures a specific number of Pods are running.

• Keeps N copies of a Pod running
• Replaces failed Pods automatically

If one Pod crashes:

Before: 3 pods After: 3 pods (1 recreated)

Deployment → creates ReplicaSet → manages Pods

ReplicaSet = “worker counter”

It ensures:

• You always have the required number of workers
