A2 Exit Criteria
What it is: Conditions to move from A2 to B1. What it’s for: Ensure you can handle intermediate materials. Example: You can tell a past story clearly with past simple.
You are ready for B1 if you can
- Speak 2 minutes about a familiar topic with acceptable fluency.
- Tell a past experience using past simple (with some irregular verbs correct).
- Understand 70–80% of slow/normal A2 audio with transcript; 50–60% without.
- Read short articles and guess meaning from context sometimes.
- Write an email request/confirmation clearly.
