What it is: Conditions to move from B2 to C1. What it’s for: Confirm you can operate comfortably in English. Example: You can discuss complex topics and react quickly.
You are ready for C1 if you can
- Understand most normal-speed media on many topics (without transcript).
- Participate in discussions and respond spontaneously.
- Write clear structured essays/emails with good coherence/cohesion.
- Use advanced grammar (conditionals, passive, reported speech) reliably.
