SRS
What it is: Reviewing words/phrases at increasing intervals (1 day → 3 days → 7 days…). What it’s for: Move vocabulary into long-term memory efficiently. Example: Review “make a decision” today, then 2 days later, then 1 week later.
How it works (simple)
- If you remember → next review later
- If you forget → review sooner
What to put in SRS
- Collocations: “pay attention”
- Example sentences (better than single words)
- Pronunciation notes (IPA) if needed
Rules to avoid overload
- Add max 10 new cards/day
- Prefer phrases, not isolated words
Hard words (Glossary)
- *interval* /ˈɪntəvəl/: khoảng thời gian giữa các lần
- *long-term memory* /ˌlɒŋ ˈtɜːm ˈmeməri/: trí nhớ dài hạn
- *overload* /ˈəʊvələʊd/: quá tải
- *isolated* /ˈaɪsəleɪtɪd/: đứng riêng lẻ
