Progress Tracking
What it is: Measuring progress using simple indicators. What it’s for: Stay motivated and adjust your routine based on data. Example: Track “minutes practiced”, “new phrases learned”, “speaking recordings/week”.
What to track (simple)
- Time: minutes/day
- Input: clips listened, pages read
- Output: speaking recordings, writing paragraphs
- Vocabulary: new cards/week, retention rate (remember %)
- Milestones: finish 10 shadowing clips, read 5 articles, etc.
Weekly check questions
- What improved this week?
- What was hard (listening speed / vocabulary / grammar)?
- What will I change next week?
